(Valley Center, CA) – April 11, 2013 – Valley View Casino & Hotel recently promoted Charles Henri Cherentin to the role of Executive Pastry Chef. Charles brings to Valley View Casino & Hotel a variety of culinary experience as well as an understanding of national and international baking and pastry trends.

Charles earned his advanced pastry degree in France and his experience has taken him from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. While in Los Angeles, he created the baking program at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of California. In Las Vegas he became the Executive Head Baker at the Venetian. Adding to his list of credentials is his expertise in international cuisine and high-volume food production operations and management.
