(VALLEY CENTER, CA) – July 1, 2009 -- Foodies were recently delighted by the introduction of a new menu at Valley View Casino's contemporary American steakhouse, Black&Blue. Utilizing fresh local ingredients, unique plates such as a Roasted Beet Salad with Port Infused Goat Cheese & Chenin Blanc Vinaigrette; Lamb Chops with Israeli Cous-Cous & Apple Mint Gastrique and Black Pearl Salmon with Lentils, Arugula Salad & Lemon Thyme Marinade were recently unveiled as a part of the new options. New permanent fixtures on the menu are the decadent Build-Your-Own Baked Potato Soup with Cheddar Cheese, Smoked Bacon & Chives and the indulgent 20 ounce Cowboy Steak, sure to be big sellers.
Returning menu favorites include the cooked-to-perfection Australian Lobster Tail, the Lobster Avocado Tower and the Surf & Turf with which you can play Valley View Casino's Dining for Dollars game to gamble for the price of your meal. Additionally, those who need to surrender to their sweet tooth can now indulge in new dessert items like the Mango Key Lime Tart with Passion Fruit Sauce & Coconut Tuile; a Crème Brûlée Trio including Pistachio Crème, Coconut Banana, Coffee Brûlées and the heavenly Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse Cake featuring Bittersweet Chocolate Gelato, Peanut Caramel & Crème Anglaise.
"At Black&Blue, we don't create meals, we create experiences. We've added some very dynamic creations to keep people coming back who are looking for something innovative," said Silver. "The new menu items paired with the outstanding service are what separates us from the competition and keeps guests coming back."
